According to CAA, you need to have at least a third party drone insurance in Sri Lanka to obtain permission to fly your drone. We have contacted several insurance companies but so far only Sri Lanka Insurance will insure your drone in Sri Lanka. You can visit any Sri Lanka Insurance branch to get a third party liability insurance for your drone.
You need to bring following documents with you for the insurance.
- National Identity Card
- Invoice of purchase of the drone
- Registration email from CAA
